David Eleuterius: over 10 years of interactive development

Who is David Eleuterius?

I am a web designer and developer that has been in the industry since 1996. I am extremely lucky in that I love what I do for a living, so my work is indeed my passion.

I grew up with computers so I have always been drawn to technology and all things that are the "future."

I have been a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana for over 25 years having originally come from Biloxi, Mississippi. I consider Shreveport my home and it is my sincere desire to raise my family and grow my business in Shreveport. Thanks to the internet, I can work with people from literally all over the world, but I want to do my part to help turn the state of Louisiana around so that the best and brightest can stay home instead of fleeing.

I have a degree in Mass Communications from LSU and have worked in the newspaper industry before gravitating to the world of web design. I have worked at (the now defunct) Softdisk Internet Services as a designer, and later moved on to Bowman Internet Systems, where I served as Director of Design for several years.

I began freelancing in 2001 with the company's (Bowman) blessing as they were moving away from custom web design, and started freelancing full time in 2002. In 2005 I officially incorporated my business as Creatvie State Design and set up my portfolio here, but mainly because I didn't think anyone would ever be able to spell Eleuterius correctly in a domain name.

Just recently I passed the five year mark for feelancing fulltime. With some great connections I have made with other developers, I am able to take on work of almost any size and produce some outstanding work. It is my goal to grow my business and continue to provide the Shreveport-Bossier area with big city talent as well as work on a national level moving forward.
